BIOGRAPHY OF RICARD ARENYS:
Barcelona, ​​1914 – 1977

Ricard Arenys, a painter of notable pictorial skill, specialized in the subject of horses, infusing his works with a great sense of movement.

Arenys participated in the Spring Exhibition in 1934 and in the Barcelona National Exhibition in 1944. In 1945, he was awarded the Third Medal at the Madrid National Exhibition. In 1955, he won the Second Medal at the National Exhibition of Fine Arts in Madrid.

Throughout his career, Ricard Arenys presented exhibitions in Barcelona on several occasions, as well as in prominent cities such as Paris, Lisbon, London, Bilbao, among others. His artistic approach centered on the representation of horses reveals his ability to capture the dynamism and grace of these animals in his works, cementing their place in the artistic field of his time.
